Everyone Dies But Not Everyone LivesA Poem by Laura HarrisonYou’re alive And you
think that’s enough But what
about your dream job that you turned down yesterday? And that guy
you like that you keep pushing away?
Every
opportunity is a blessing; Most of them
you only get once So when one
arrives, you should grasp it with both hands Grab it
quick while you can
You’re young
and free, So live each
day like it’s your last Do whatever
you want and don’t worry about the consequence Live your
life with confidence
And I know
that you’re scared to face reality But what
will you have to show for your life when you are 50? Will you
still be holed up in your bedroom on the internet all day, Wishing your
life would just go away? © 2013 Laura HarrisonReviews
