![]() From A Man To His Insecure GirlfriendA Poem by Laura HarrisonYou look at
everyone around you and always think that they are prettier than you You are
always worrying about how you look compared to others But imagine
seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes; What if they
thought you were the most beautiful woman they had ever laid eyes on? Because that
is exactly what I think when I look at you I wish you
would believe me when I tell you that you’re beautiful And that you
wouldn’t push me away when I touch your body I wish you
wouldn’t cover your face in vats of make up Because it’s
not Maybelline that made me fall in love with you You are
worth a lot more than the number on the scales And the
Photo-shopped women in magazines that you look up to When I met
you, it felt like all the stars suddenly became aligned You are the
reason that I get out of bed in the morning You are the
reason why I still breathe So I don’t
care that your face is covered in spots Or that your
teeth are a little crooked I just wish
that you didn’t care either © 2013 Laura HarrisonReviews
