Love Fall

Love Fall

A Poem by Laura Harrison

In the confusion of it all

I watched our love fall

It shattered to the ground

Now you’re no longer around

Yet like a ghost you keep on haunting me

Every single day inside my mind

Questioning why our love died

I wish that I could turn back the time

When the moon comes out

And all the lights go off

I am kept awake by my thoughts

Why did you leave me out in the cold?

I thought that our love shined like gold

I wonder if you ever think about me

And all that we could have been

If only you had stayed just a little bit longer

Maybe our love could have got stronger

But like everybody else

You gave up in the end

I know that you had had enough trying to pretend

That you still loved me

But I wish you had seen

That you could have been my King

And I could have been your Queen

You have created such a heartbreaking poem and I really felt the waves of emotions in this. This really spoke
to me. Great work.:)

Yes i loved you,
All you are saying is true,
but i never wanted to,
its all i could do.

Seeing you in tears,
Brought me fears,
all you had for me and trust,
you were growing in me so fast.

Am sorry for all that,
call it the past,
and lets come and again start,
build what we had start.

Goodbye can't heal the wounds,
Staying together will,
Instead of taking the rounds,
You are still my kingdoms Queen.
