The Red Man (Den Røde Mand)

The Red Man (Den Røde Mand)

A Poem by LauraEmilie
"

A poem I wrote a few years ago. The original language is Danish and I include it below the translated version.

"

The Red Man

I walk through the gate, and on the street, stool lay

I say “hi” to the sweeper I know so well,

and set out on my little journey

I walk to the road and stop.

The red man on the other side stands so still

In a glimpse he disappears, while his green brother takes his place

Many walk, but I am still

For between the crowd is a blue dot

I see a yellow van race by,

And at last I can walk

But alas, the red man stands still yet again

Mange går over, men jeg står stille

About
I have a few stories I have had in my head for many years at this point. I am starting to write them down, sometimes not in canonical order. I want them all to be quite long, sometimes I have writing .. more..
