The Three Of UsA Poem by Little Whisper
Bukowski lies disgruntled
tucked within Kerouac... untouched on this lonesome goodnight. Two separate voices lying next to me in my bed. Outside night sounds sing night time lull-a-byes. Ohhhh You who left Them by my side! I will leave your pillows untouched but just that one... No not even that one will I embrace. To touch it would take away from you. Even the blankets are a lonely, pulled back tide. Where shall I lay? On the far edge. I will reach See Smile at your Story telling smile... dream... I will dream.
