Laura
A person of beauty
And happiness
With a heart that shines
The light of a thousand diamonds
And a face
As pretty as a rose
Laura is like a blossoming flower
A flower that once hid its petals
Tight and bound together
But one day
The light in the flower was too strong
And the beautiful petals poured out
Showing her true colors
From then on
The light from the sun
Would shine its rays on her everyday
And say to her
My dear, beautiful flower
Thank you for opening yourself up to me
But why have you hidden yourself for so long?
Laura replied to the sun 
I needed to grow strong
And battle through challenges
Before I was ready to come out
Of this deep shell of mine
But now, the light is burning
So much inside of me
That I can no longer contain it inside of myself
And I must share it with you
And the rest of the world
So they will be inspired
To show their petals
As well

The sun, with it's warm compassion
Wrapped her in its embrace
And said
I am so happy to see you
So let us rejoice everyday
For you
Laura, the beautiful flower
Laura, the mighty warrior
And the beacon of light
To all the other flowers
