My Dear father
You have been there for me
Since I was young and feeble
Needing direction in this big world
Always, you have been there
To be with me
And to help me
When times are tough
Never will I forget
the times you held my hand
Tucked me in bed
Hugged me 
And told me how much you love me
These memories
Are forever engrained inside of me
So I promise you
That when you get gray and old
That I will be there
To take care of you
Like you did with me
And when the time comes
For you and I to take our last breath
I rest assured
That we will be together for eternity
