Tender

Tender

A Poem by Laura3841

Sealed by the darkness

Stars tossed in the sky for light

My ears are held captive

by your tender voice tonight

Your guitar is playing gently

soothing are the words

I fall in love with your fingers

as you gently strum the chords

Your face is still and handsome

at which I have to stare

And though the air is chilly

I am warm by what we share
