Never have I ever

A poem that just says the truth

Five fingers up
One by one we go
As they say it
Never have I ever

With their words clear
Never have I ever
Thought I was ugly
Four fingers up

Once again they say
Never have I ever
Cut myself on purpose
Three fingers up

I'm up now
Never have I ever
Thought I was skinny
Three fingers up

It starts again
And with no worry
Never have I ever
Thrown up on purpose
Two fingers up

The next starts
Never have I ever
Wanted to die
One finger up

Me once again
Never have I ever
Been completely happy
One finger up

Then as one both say
Never have I ever
Lost hope in humanity
No fingers up

I guess I lost in this
But I never wanted to win
Alone and lost
I just want them to see

All that is wrong
All that hurts me
All that they do
All that they say

It hurts
It breaks
It leaves
But it never fades
