Silent Sirens (Revised)

Silent Sirens (Revised)

A Poem by LaughingBuddha
"

A new and hopefully improved version of a writing that expresses one of the phases my mind becomes stuck in every so often.

"
Everyone seems so kind
until I deceive my perception.
Fear flows through my mind
as I deny its inevitable conception.
It's only lies that I find
as I look through these all seeing eyes
while the song of reality are muffled
by this deafening siren's cries.
"You're only an echo of life
that I have given a voice,
but is it even life
if you have no freedom of choice?
You can't escape the scythe
of the souls that I reap.
The cryptic envelopment will teach
the people to keep.
