The real me.

The real me.

A Poem by LatoyaEvans
"

This is a personal piece. Dedicated to everyone who sees me with eyes wide shut.

"
I am here in ways that I have never been before
I don't see life the same anymore
There are to many things to adore
I have changed my internal decor
No more drapes to hide the sun
My life has just begun
I'm amazed at what I've done
This battle I have won
with only one casualty
the death of me but before that i was
a multi-amputee
There was so many parts of me
Sour lies destroyed by the sweet truth
I have hurt my tooth
chewing information that got me here
and swallowing regret
then re-designed "me" like an architect
the end result stands here in awe
Applaud
what a total transformation
nothing about me needs abbreivation
