Last night you waited for me in front of my house.

Anticipating nothing - we went out.

Your heavenly gaze fell into my eyes,

I had never seen such truth

I mean absolutely no lies.

We moved down the busy streets that only night can

provide.
Out in the open the two of us with no where to hide

So tall you are compared to me, I'm like a ant standing

at the base of a mature oak tree.

No words were spoken yet communication was unreal

like classical music on fresh yet accepting ears

Walking me to my door to complete the night while

kissing me gently on the top of my head as we said

goodbye.
