My love and me.

My love and me.

A Poem by Lathen Griffiths

Ivy-
evergreen,
still wraps around the bough,
the bough
still grows from the tree;
the tree
is still rooted
deep in the ground,
where we stood
my love and me.

The sky
ever blue,
on its own, up above,
still reaches
down to the sea,
the waves still roll
Into the shore,
where we stand,
my love and me.

I like the sky reaching down to the sea.
When the love is rooted deep in the ground...it stands the test of time.
Nicely done...
all those views and not one review?
I am astonished.
