A Waltz Amongst Falling LeavesA Poem by Lathen GriffithsA poem about the waltz of life.
Meet me in
the morrow lands as light entwines and weaves, we’ll watch the bronze sceptre of the trees. Take my hand through autumn; waltz amongst the falling leaves, dance with me a while up- -on the breeze. Reminisce how summer wore its heart upon its sleeve, count the days before the rain drops freeze … “One, two, three Two, two, three Three, two, three ” Waltzing through life’s tapestries. © 2022 Lathen Griffiths |
