A Waltz Amongst Falling Leaves

A Waltz Amongst Falling Leaves

A Poem by Lathen Griffiths
"

A poem about the waltz of life.

"
Meet me in
the morrow
lands as light
entwines and
weaves,
we’ll watch the
bronze sceptre
of the trees.

Take my hand
through autumn;
waltz amongst
the falling
leaves,
dance with me
a while up-
-on the breeze.

Reminisce
how summer
wore its heart
upon its
sleeve,
count the days
before the
rain drops freeze …

“One, two, three
Two, two, three
Three, two, three ”

Waltzing through
life’s tapestries.
