You

You

A Poem by LaterBabe
"

It should’ve been you.

"
My heart is caving,
My tears I wish were erasing;
Every memory from the past. Of broken promises I hoped would last.
So I feared,
I admit I'm the one who got scared. That we were never meant to last.
So I left you,
When I knew I should’ve kept you.
But I was selfish to some extent and;
And now I miss you.
I wish i wish oh how I could kiss you.
An fall again through the cracks of our brokenness, into our love renewed.
Not this tragic love that leaves me feeling defeated anew.
