Where Paths Cross
A Poem by J.K.P.
Inspired by strangers, I wrote this sitting at the L.A. airport. Short, simple.
Confidence etched on
thousands of faces,
trying their best not to betray
how lost they really feel.
And life stories are written
with their shoes,
Worn,
Manicured,
In a rush to nowhere.

short, sweet, and breath-taking again
this one is super cool!!, i wrote a poem very similar to this thats not up on the cafe
"we are but shadows in the setting sun
when we are among everyone
exaggerated silhouettes of ourselves
smiling and laughing like all is well"
thats the whole poem, its short and sweet too xD

The way I read it, You are saying the society has their "etched" faces, meaning conditioned
personalities...right. and most are actually not as they seem, depressed with their presets of life.
thumbs up if thats the correct inturrpretation
