Linked in ink

Before you can blink

the friendship is gone

that didnt last long.

Secrets we revealed,

Wounds that have already healed.

Long talks into the night,

Never once having a fight.

Nothing hidden,

Nothing forbidden.

Everything out for you to see,

The real person inside of me.

So close moments before,

we made our way through that neon signed door.

Said we'd break the curse,

Only made things worse.

the only reminder we were once linked.

Friends come and go,

Which ones, it's hard to know.
