Love in the Labyrinth

Love in the Labyrinth

A Poem by C.R. Moore "Lasla"

Worlds unfold within my dreams.

Dark and dreary in this vault of my mind.

Strange faces and eyes starring at me in the dark.

Tattered skin pale and blue feeling cold.

A blood red moon hanging in a cold sky

Succulent diamonds drenched in blood fall from

the cold jagged sky finding their way into

my labyrinth floor singing their story of days gone by.

I hold your voice within my ears it is echoing loudly.

It is a morose song of lost love finding its place upon

the stars as it will leave my soul soon enough.

I rest in this box cold and dead no light in my eyes

I am close to the end now I feel no pain and no fears

only love from a unknown source brings a warmth to

my unguided soul rendering myself to you the

universe unfolding becoming brighter now

showing only love and life from beyond

I like this, it flows well and is quite warm despite the dark gothic setting . The formatting is interesting though in parts seemed to detract from the flow. but then that's a matter of style and taste so feel free to ignore that. will tey and remember the name and have a look a something else :)
