Jet BlackA Poem by Lashanna
You don't tell me anything,
It's like you stopped caring, The more the days would go by, The more you never said hi. What's wrong? What did I do?, I honestly wish I knew, I see you living your life without me, It's almost like you'd rather me flee. I want to hear your voice, It seems this separation was only your choice, I hope you're not ignoring my pain, As if from this hurt there was something to gain. You've banished me from your kingdom, This eye deceiving thing as left me with symptoms, All I want is your presence back, But instead you've pushed me in a corner of jet black. © 2014 LashannaAuthor's Note
