Bloodsucker

Bloodsucker

A Poem by LareBear
"

Vampire attack

"

Driven lust, painful hunger the monster searches.

Wandering streets, avoiding light and holy churches,

Empty alleys hinting somewhere is abundant life.

Rats and mice digging in the garbage rife,

A shriek and a wail is heard as a cat makes a kill "

Lucky b*****d will get his fill!

Ducking back into shadows when laughter’s heard,

A gent walks past unaware with his bird.

Secret and private, they seek the darkness, too.

Unwed lovers take cover from society’s taboo.

A giggle and a kiss she gets her thrill "

Lucky b*****d will get his fill!

The weakness crashes like waves yet he pushes on;

He must eat soon, this Satan’s spawn!

Overhead a night bird screeches, flitters on its hunt.

The prey below snatched away in a single aerial stunt.

Death comes easy when the hunter has skill "

Lucky b*****d will get his fill!

Skulking around beneath the pale moonlight,

Down the street, motionless, he catches a sight.

Fishnet stockings she is an enticing view;

On a mission, he stalks, the wench to subdue.

The pain turns to pleasure as the blood does spill "

Lucky b*****d has got his fill.
