Beatles Haikus

Beatles Haikus

A Poem by LareBear
"

Can you guess the song?

"

Whispering wise words

The Virgin Mary appears

Oh please, let it be

Please don’t take it bad

Start to better a sad song

Not John, but his son

I wanna tell you

When I touch you, I’m happy

I wanna hold hands

Kaleidoscope eyes

Drift past cellophane flowers

Drugs are bad, mmm-kay?

Innovative album

Going in and out of style

An awful movie

I give her my love

Bright stars shine in the dark sky

Love will never die

Ukraine girls are hot

Moscow girls make me doo-wop

Georgia’s on my mind

Old flattop grooving

Cracker has Ono sideboard

Shoot me he predicts

She played one-night stands

Twelve bar blues with cool bass line

That’s what I found out

Lonely church people

Nobody’s there, no one was saved

Where do they belong?

The sun going down

Recorder plays haunting tune

Who is the real fool?

Gender confused man

Your mom’s a two-bit floozy

Go home, Loretta

Barrelhouse bass line

Laughing when the sun is out

Sunny days are good

Once there was a way

Get back home and I will sing

Let sleep fill your eyes

Southern brassiness

Looking for another mind,

I took a ride there

I go for a ride

Sexual innuendos

A rollercoaster

Cold lonely winter

The sun comes and it’s alright

Ice slowly melts

All of these places

Lovers and friends I recall

I will love you more

Komm doch, komm zu mir

Ich will mir dir gehen jetzt

Gib mir deine Hand

Children at your feet

Where’s the money from for rent?

Pop star took your name

Meter maid fetish

Sat on a sofa with her

Asked for a three way

Hoping to take you

Psychedelic images

Roll up; take the tour

Don’t answer the door, Joan

Annoyed teacher gets the whack

Look out behind, Judge!

Haunting sitar plays

Elegant furniture burns

This bird flew away

Don’t talk destruction

Constitution needs changing

Change the world, alright!

I said something wrong

Previous day was better

Oh, I believe it
