Everybody DiesA Poem by WhiskurzThe darkness sits in silent allegiance As the evil fills the air He goes unseen but his presence is felt For Death is everywhere He wanders through the darkest streets While hiding from the light He watches while you kiss your children And bid them all goodnight For Death doesn't care who he takes He regards us all the same Until it's time to harvest your soul Then he calls you by your name Sometimes it's only a whisper Or a feeling you just can't shake Sometimes it's when you're fast asleep Never again to wake He's watching while you read this verse You can feel his hungry eyes So rest assured your time will come For everybody dies
