I AM THE POET'S MUSE

I AM THE POET'S MUSE

A Poem by Whiskurz

The poet sits down to write once again
But the "I" wouldn't flow from his quill
The "A" sees the I and thinks he is shy
A tells the "M" that he'd better stay still
The "T" sees the m and says to the "H"
Tell the "E" it's happening once more
The e tells the "P" I'm starting to see
I believe that it's just like before
The p tells the "O" I want you to know
The "E" says a mutiny is at hand
The e tells the "T" it's time to be free
Tell the "S" we're gonna make a stand
The s tells the "M" he's looking for "U"
Ask the "S" what I told him to do
The s told the "E" hurry, follow me
For I know where we're going to
The flowers start to smile for they knew all the while
That they would be the inspiration he'd use
Now the letters relent and start to repent
When the flowers said, "I AM THE POET'S MUSE"

Nice one! enjoyed a new style. Short and effective. Sometimes we feel so inspired by even little things around, but cant seem to pen rightly enough and then after a pause the writing flows back again.
cheers!
