Kisses in a Rose gardenA Poem by IndigoChild
Are we wrong?
Is it safe for me to write a song? About how I've loved you all along And how I cry now that your gone I remember the grounds keeper How he was e'er quite the peeper He avoided me like I was a leaper He saw us in the garden hot with fever My parents reactions were very grim When I told them my beloved wasn't a Him Ever since my eyes have been Dim Is who we are a major sin? And now I look at you dear moon And remember how we ran away that noon I remember how you made me swoon Must our time together end so soon?
