Heart of Black

Heart of Black

A Poem by IndigoChild

My heart is cold
And your love is bold
But i really want you to know
That my heart is black
Death has painted it over
My soul is somber
Lost in me
You still hold me
Your arms guide me home
Your voice keeps me warm
i know you may not be there
But i really don't care
I am alive because of your stare
but my heart is cold
My love will never be bold
death has painted me black
And i never want to come back
This world is full of pain
To me its just a game
A huge riddle a hedged maze
I love you
But i could never hold you
I could never control you
I could never Sympathize with you
I could never touch you
So why should i be there with you
