Fade to Black

What is the color black?
Is it just a basic fact
that black is evil
small and sinister like a weasel

Why does black have such a bad rap?
Caged and confined with a tiny clasp.

Failing to grasp what I know
Potently I grasped my bow
Pulling the string back
As I fade to black
