Beyond the door

Though many years have passed since we last met it seems as though we had just spoken yesterday. I missed the sound of your laughter. I miss the way you would stare intently into the ocean, acting as though you were frozen in time. I missed they way you would cradle me in your arms, making it seem like I'm the only one that even mattered.

Beyond the door lies the unbreakable bond, the bond of our hearts joined in union. As the fireflies dance around me I can't help but think of you. I want to align the pieces, to yours and mine's name.
