Carpe Diem

I do not know what tomorrow holds.

I cannot change fate's design.

So I think of the now

And always try

To live for the moment

And just get by.

Cherish the little things

Like hot showers and tight hugs,

Like crawling into bed after a long day

Or feeling like the sleep I got was just enough,

hearing the words "I appreciate you" instead of just "I love",

Knowing that my life is in the hands of God above.
