These things,

they're happening

And this time,

its passing

we live

in circles

we drink

in shadows

the love

is bitter

and you

don't love me

and I

well, I know

but I

let it go

because

you will lie

and say

you love me

anyway

this poem hit me like a slap in the face. i love it. so simply written, yet speaks so much truth.

is bitter" my favorite lines. i can agree. life does work this way most of the time. i love the idea of you knowing this person doesn't love you, but you say nothing. i can relate. beautiful write.
