EmpathyA Poem by ShooBLeeDooHis pale white face, And miserable eyes; Pushed everyone away,
With this disguise.
For the rumour was' that,
He'd caught a disease;
And if you got to close,
You'd be in the same shoes,
T'was only for a stranger,
who was fearless and kind;
and approached the sick man,
And listened to his mind.
And all that was wrong,
Was the man was depressed;
And he used drink and drugs,
To deal with his stress.
