My beautiful Monster

I hear her heartbeat

constantly in my ear

whispering "run, run run run"

and with each second

i disobey

though i'm in the monsters lair

this is fantastic. the way you were able to take a dark idea (that love makes us monsters sometimes) and turn it into something that evokes love and beauty is striking and powerful. I liked that you brought out the desperate nature of love and how sometimes we will do anything for it even at the expense of ourselves. i have a very interesting history with bad relationships so this side of love really resonates with me and you captured it perfectly
