Broken Hearts, Shattered time

Broken Hearts, Shattered time

A Poem by Lanky
"

"I held my tongue, as she told me son, fear is the heart of love, so i never went back"

"
Crushed in an instant
now a lingering pain
sifting through the pieces
searching in the dark
trying to hide the shame
the puzzle takes shape
as the pieces are reassembled
taped together
It looks almost like a heart now
Ruby red gems held together by white gaff tape
stronger now, never to shatter again
from now on just pick a piece
and pull it out, its yours to keep
but wait, don't go yet, take this pen
and sign your name before you leave
