Last WordsA Poem by Lanky
Write the words upon the wall
the forgotten poets final piece tragic is, the poets fall in which his heart did finally cease Those most melancholy of words which still linger and haunt us all "live let live, let love, let die from birth to the last rattling breath I was a writer since my first cries so here are the words i leave at my death Forget me, for i am gone but keep beauty alive let stories, poems and play survive cherish them for what they are An escape from the wretched scars that haunt the writers mind" And as he exhaled his last breath he succumbed to the darkness and the death and the poet was no more.
