The Lost Girl

Peter Pan inspired poem that really explained my life at the time I wrote it.

I'm a lost girl among Mad Hatters and March hares,

 Pirates and Evil Queens chase my dreams; and the stars lead me onward til morning. 

The mermaids sing the soundtrack to my life, 

and I'll fly away to Neverland because I'm a girl who will only grow OLD; 

but as long as I'm still dreaming, I will never grow UP! 

So why not fly away with me. 

Fly with me to a place only we can be.

I love dreams! Wonderful poem. Let us fly away! Sometimes I wish to just stay in my dreams and never return to reality. Neverland I want to stay, for there my dreams come true, here, it is just reality. What dreams are there her in the real world? Our dreams are what usually makes us happy, then we have to return unhappy. Sometimes when I dream, I wish I could just get lost in the dream and just live in an alternate reality, the reality within my dreams. Thanks for your writing.
