Sandie's Poem

Sandie's Poem

A Poem by Jordyn K. Jansa

A single raindrop

Lands on my cheek

I want to cry

I feel so weak

I’ve already cried

Every tear I’ve ever known

And right here, right now

I feel so alone

I look at her face

So lifeless and pale

My heart is pierced

By a thousand nails

But I know some day

Whether now or then

I’ll go up to Heaven

And be with her again

Say, this poem has a lot of meaning to those who have lost people, I think. To those who hope to see those they loved again...awesome.
