Just Have Faith

Just Have Faith

A Poem by Lana Huskins
"

Even the worst things in life have a big turn around.

"
If when you wake up in the morning
and you have to debate:
who's really there for me?
in this world full of hate.
Just keep your head high
And your feet on the ground,
Because the worst things in life
have a big turn around.
Let go of what aches you,
Kick it to the curb.
If you don't know Jesus Christ
that would be absurd
When you have problems
and there's no one to turn to;
Understand: He's not too far away
He's right up above you.
He's there to listen,
so say what you'd like
He's not there to judge, or use it in spite
So, if you're feeling down
And there is no one there beside you,
Just take his hand and let him guide you
Through the valley of darkness,
Through the good and the not
Have faith in him
because He's all you got.

I'm not a believer but I thought this was brilliant. Really enjoyed it, love the rhyming. Well done

Brilliant!
Sometimes Faith or/and hope even is its a little is all we have if we're stuck in between 4 corners.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautifully written. Sometimes faith is all we can have. A little faith, and you can ride out any storm. Thanks for sharing.

That's exactly right!
Being strong is hard, maintaining strength is a lot more plausible, one must continue through the storms and monsoons, in the end, the storm will go away and the Sun shall rise again.

I love your words!
I can definitely relate to this, there were times where I lost faith in myself and it's still a process I'm going through, I enjoyed the read!

no problem
Pretty good, though I think there is an over-reliance on Jesus and God, but then I've never been much into any religion. Decent rhyming scheme, good structure...
Overall, good job, young lady.

No problem. If I truly believed in God I would've liked it more, but that's my problem, not yours. I.. read more

Understandable. Everyone has different views in life.
this is the third poem I'm reading by you and I want to read all of them. I mean the fact that you just mentioned Jesus pulls me in closer because I too have a personal relationship with him. I feel like I relate to your writing so much.
