Nothing Is What It Seems.A Chapter by DelanaTrey walked in and saw us sittign on the ground together, Landen looked up at Trey and opened his mouth. "Hey, brother." he said, trying his hardest to stand up. "Y'all alright in here?" Trey asked, helping me and Landen up. Not really, I thought. "Were fine." I replied, answering for Landen. "Ya sure? Seem kind of funny?" he half smiled. "I'm sure, Trey." I said, smiling at him. "Alright...Look, I'm going over to Matt's. Text me or call me if y'all need anything. Peace. And be careful you, too." Trey teased. "Yeah, yeah. Later, bro." Landen said, waving Trey off. I could hear Trey laughing under his breath. He walked out of the livingroom, I heard keys, then I heard a door shut. He was gone. Now it was me and Landen standing together in the livinroom, alone. What now? "Did you..see..that?" Landen said. "See what?" I asked, for a second I thought he saw my dream. "Everything. It just went black when we touched? And..those sparks? I don't know, maybe I'm losing my mind..." "If any one is losing their mind, its me." I said. "What do you mean?" "Nothing. Let's just...let's go. Let's go somewhere. Anywhere. Just not here, I need some fresh air. Wanna go to the park? Or where we always go? The old abandoned house in the forrest?" I asked, gettign ready to leave. "Yeah, sure. Whatever you want. Let's." he said.
My mind was clouded with what had just happened, I couldn't think straight. I need outdoor's air. It felt so much better for me, now that I know nothing is what it seems... © 2010 Delana |
