It's hard to forget about a significant other.

Make Me Forget Make me forget the way he loved me The way he held my hand in his And the way he would lean in close To bless my forehead with a kiss Make me forget how happy we were How much he had truly cared How we were so great together And how good was the love we shared Make me forget those summer nights When he had held me in his arms Underneath the starry black sky As he dazzled me with his charm Make me forget the way he hurt me The way he broke my heart in two When he had physically loved another With me none-the-wiser, a fool Make me forget the pain in my heart The unbearable anguish he caused So that I may go on with my life As if it had never been paused Make me forget that I still love him How I long for him to stay Even though when he begged for forgiveness I had angrily turned him away Make me forget the nights I cried With my heart still in his debt Really, I don't care how Just, please, make me forget
