Waiting...A Poem by LauraThis poem is for a contest. I hope you all like it. Its a bit weird and not what I would normally write about vampires, but you know there are some mean ones out there.
Hiding in the side walks,
Day and night. Waiting forever waiting, for the crazed moment to pass. I see the moon is full, pretty as can be, but it can not full my desires, no that could never be. Everything turns red, when I hear the voices, they're arguing in a car, gradually getting nearer. I creep down the ally ways, until I'm by the lamp post, that they would clearly pass. When they come I jump out, their car smashes into me, and when they come to check I'm okay I pounce right onto them. Their car wouldn't hurt me, oh goodness it never could, I only did that cause of my cravings, which they would soon stop. The crimson liquid enters my mouth, filling it with fire, and all of sudden my body's filled with contentment of getting my desire. Suddenly like a bullet, I leave the two humans drained, and go back to hiding on side walks, until the cravings come back, and go back to being deranged.
