Inferno

Inferno

A Poem by Nocturnal Sunrise

Inferno

Echoes falling

through the past

Brief encounter,

broken hearts

Never live to

 reveal the tale

Bodies crumble

in life you failed

Darken hall,

oozing death

Accumulating

its final breath

Each savage beast

 it rives in pain

A fatal twist

before the slaying

Rotten stench

between the walls

Softly carved

 by a lover scorned

Bodies writhe

flesh it crawls

Infernal beast

 within us all
