Peaceful Revenge

Peaceful Revenge

A Poem by Nocturnal Sunrise

Peaceful Revenge

Narrow passages, twisted doors

Sweeping memories, creaking floors

all unveiled to bear a soul

Days of past, each story told

Daily chores fade and die

a love that wells deep inside

Lust and greed stolen all worth

serving peaceful just desserts

Crevices ignite and burn

Untrusting ways

of lovers spurned
