I have nothing for the table

I have nothing for the table

A Chapter by Lafayette

You see, I know that stare

That look, the one in your eyes lit heart

This way you look at me,

As in found is something

So close to you now, you must understand

Looking at you, I all most could I believe

In spring rains bringing, smiles with

Loves touch to light my darkness

That is way I turn my gaze away

I am broken; you cannot fix this, me

I fear for you, your heart’s love so open

I am before poured beyond empty, this vessel

Nothing left, nothing left to give to you

I am before poured beyond empty, this vessel

You offer so much with just your smile

Turn away now quickly, from this you think

This feeling, you see

I too, see it also, that is the fear

You can see, not as others

You see its feel, it in its colors

I have nothing for the table, eat without me
