West 4th

West 4th

A Chapter by Lafayette

Lets' not waste this precious rain

I love watching you playing all wet

forgive me, my sweet

How about we take a walk, take time, to talk face to face

Come walk with me, the city is asleep now

Between dawn and dusk

between a new life and endless death

Honeysuckle drifts between the steel corridors

it’s spring through New York City streets

and we can walk from west 4th

to the boat house, only stopping to stand on the old steam grate stealing kisses along the way.

Amore, in these moments, your body pressed, um like this to mine

Know I have loved none, as I love you now

Endless my need of your lips "

your kiss - you

Come walk with me;

We may have time enough, to learn what we’re hiding

What we’re not saying, all those words we’re so afraid to use

In all these little moment, that wall between you and I

How about you keep your clothes on "

this fire growing between you and I,

much, much more than we know,

deeper than we can feel

I stand before you crimson heart in hand

come light the spark

Dance for me through desert lilies prance like in days of old, you can stand on Black Diamond Over Look, I’ll get down on my knees

We’ll scream till there no space left - between you and I

Know your spinning through midnight’s fires, open doors long locked closed even to me, you bring me closer to my life’s fulfillment than any.

Can I hold back this love, to tightly wound I am

My Sweet, come in to my arms, don’t make me beg!

I’m all ready in tears, I just can’t, can’t give any more -

Oh my only love, quite your heart and kiss me

I know you want more " but oh my Love

There are dark palaces hidden here behind these gates

And you’re all ready closer than any before this beginning

More, is far is too close to my fires dearest!

Do not be afraid this fire " it is me

I will want you completely - you take my breath away!
