Racist encounter

There are many different words used to describe one thing
And one word can mean plenty of different things
You speak English, and I speak it so you may understand me
English is a part of you just like Arabic is a part of me
However, language is just a means of communicating
Not a tool to be used for separating
People, and a way to spread hate
And I hear you state
Lies about me because of a religion that I practice
Or a place that I come from, thinking you state facts when the fact is
You are ignorant and fed false history
You think you know all there is to know about my identity
And I stand here listening to you telling me
About all the reasons why my people are an enemy
As you tell me about all the things I am that you hate
You still expected me to accept your request to go out on a date
Because regardless of everything terrible you seem to hate
The truth of it is you think I have a pretty face
And I am supposed to thank you for accepting me regardless of my race
I will not apologize for your ignorance and hate of where I’m from
If we came out with any facts from this encounter the fact we got is just one
You are a racist MF whose father should have pulled out from his mom.
