I Stay Silent

I Stay Silent

A Poem by Lady Pearl
"

Being in love with a selfish partner

"
I stay silent
Because my tears weren't enough
To make you understand
So how can my words?
I stay silent
Because my love wasn't enough
To make you care
So how can my words?
I stay silent
Because my tired worn out body
Wasn't enough
For you to sympathize
So how can my words?
I stay silent
Because my tongue
Simply can't find the words
To show you how much I had enough
And I'll stay silent

This one made me misty eyed. When love is no longer equal and one feels diminished it really does hurt.

Chilling, sad, hopeless..
May her silence become a bull horn
May the voice become one long song

Silence is the echo of noise that was once emitted and another time ignored

Silence is golden, silver, or perhaps hued a different shade than expressed in metaphor or analogy before... Regardless... The silence described here is all sorts of gray, and is expressed in an exemplary style. Hopefully tears will always be enough, but when they are not, thankfully we can re-make the ones we have already lost.

Beautiful expression. The idea of when people ask you to explain what they can't see you're showing with your body. Moving and beautiful, well done :)

Although not agreeing with the strategy employed, you express the viewpoint so very well.

They say silence is golden... Well sometimes it is black or blue but you do not hear anyone say that. This is eloquent, well written, and your feelings come through so well. Good job. Wolf ,'', ^@@^ ,'',
