Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by Lady Of Darkness
"

Written as a lullaby.

"

Hush now little butterfly please don't cry
I'll chase the entire nightmares goodbye
In my enchanted circle of dreams
The night stars shall grant your every wish

Hush now little butterfly please don't cry
The fairies are here to dry your eye's
Come into their waiting arms do not weep
Angels have gathered here to guard you
White wings protecting you even in sleep.

Hush now my butterfly, this is my last lullaby.

"Hush now my butterfly, this is my last lullaby" cryptic...why is it the last one? What is going to happen? This leaves the reader thinking (which is a good thing!)
the non-stop flow of this makes the poem seem like it is spoken/sung in a soft, whispered, rush- more mystery. Good job. I look forward to reading more of your work. Have a good day. Carrie

You can sing this to me anytime you want, I'll happily fall asleep to this. It's much lighter than my version :P
This is amazing Hon, so sweet and simple, it maintains the flow all the way through it :)

Excellant writing Honey
