Lt Kevin Thomas Riley was the first man to really know Lady Karissa before she married into the aristocracy.

Let's go back to the Pagan Year of 2275, when Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard nee Lowell first arrived on Star Base 12 from Post World War Three begun 2126 but it didn't really merge into a World War III until May 1, 2153 with the ECON lodging the first nuclear missile and without any warning ECON with the help of Colonel Phillip Green changed the world in one day's time.

World War III fully merged on May 1, 2153 and didn't end until a cease-fire was declared in October of 2153, but although The ECON leader was killed.

There was still another monster at large named Colonel Phillip Green who thought he could play god and no matter where Phillip Green went people were killed like Hitler did during World War Two.

Finally two years in 2155, Flint the Immortal surprises Green and drops the Ebola Virus on his camp in the mountains of Montana and it kills the sorry excuse of a genocidal maniac.

Those people that survive the war celebrate his death and they hope that can save Planet Earth, but the world as they knew no longer exists.

There are wide-spread famine, pestilence, and a lack of law and order on Planet Earth and war-lords take over Planet Earth.

It takes centuries for Planet Earth to recover from World War III.

Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell was born in Post War World III in The new United States in 2255 and no one knows the long term effects of radiation poisoning for years to come.

Tragedy strikes Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell at the young age of 15, when she sees her mother die from the long term side effects of radiation poisoning, followed by her father and the final blow is when her fiance, Roy dies as well.

Karissa temporarily lives with kin until they can no longer take care of her and their own children.

Food is rationed out with food coupons and they sign up for the United Federation of Planet relocation program on Star Base 12.

May 1, 2270, Karissa boards the USS Republic along with 499 war orphans who are a part of the relocation program.

While traveling on the USS Republic, she is sitting in the garden, when a young officer, Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley who has just come from his family's funeral of Talos IV.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley is headed back to Star Base 12 to return to Star-Fleet Academy, but he strikes up a conversion with Karissa in the garden on The USS Republic.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell share a similar loss and they become very close while they are traveling back to Star Base 12 and it's Kevin Riley that tells Karissa about Star Base 12 and all the aristocrats that live on Star Base 12.

When Lord Kevin Thomas Riley and Karissa are transported down to Star Base 12 he is the one that introduces her to Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, Duke of Norfolk Territory and Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory.

Both of them are the senior Dukes on Star Base 12 and they are first cousins and they are related through Lord Frederick William Howard, the 2nd Duke of Norfolk Territory.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR father and Lord Richard William Carey's great-grandmother are brother and sister.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley escorts Karissa on his arm and presents her to Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and Lord Richard William Carey and standing by his father, is Lord Andrew Charles Howard and Lord Richard William and he are second cousins.

Karissa really doesn't care for either, but if she had a choice she would have accepted Lord Richard William Carey over Lord Andrew Charles Howard, but Lord Andrew Charles Howard is a determined young man and he starts to pursue her.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard is ambitious and he knows if he wants to become Duke of Norfolk Territory after his father he has to give his grandfather his first great-grandchild.

Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell has her own agenda and she wants a daughter and the only way she will marry is if the man gives her a daughter or no marriage.

Lord Andrew Charles delivers his promise and he is the man who gives her -her first daughter and faithful to her word she marries him and she gives two sons, and two more daughters.

Lord Andrew Charles and Karissa, now Lady Karissa become Duke and Duchess of Norfolk Territory.

Lady Karissa and Lord Richard William Carey follow their heart and they have a love affair that results with their two children,Lady Caroline Matilda in 2282, and Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey in 2289.

Lady Caroline Matilda is Lord Richard William Carey's heiress to Bedford Territory and she is born on his 32nd birthday in 2282.

Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Karissa watch their eldest child and only daughter grow up and one day she is walking to town and she is approached by a tall, handsome, young man and he walks up and he introduces himself to Lady Caroline Matilda.

The young man is the son of Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lady Isabella Collins and he was born in 2280 two years before Lady Caroline Matilda, but the same year her eldest brother was born.

The young man tells her " You remind me of a young woman that my father loved back in 2274 and still loves despite that he is married to my mother."Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II tells her.

Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II tells her that his father loved a young woman named Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell.

Lady Caroline Matilda smiles and she tells him " I am Lady Caroline Matilda Carey and my mother is Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard and my father is Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory."

Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II takes out a picture of his father, her, mother and their best friend, Richard Williams and he shows her the picture and he tells her it was taken out at Pembroke Territory where Lady Karissa is Marchioness of Pembroke Territory.

Lady Caroline Matilda looks at the picture of Kevin, Richard and her mother out at Pembroke Castle and she says "It is momma, with her best friends. She has the same picture of her nightstands."

"My mom treasures that picture." Lady Caroline Matilda tells him.

Lord Kevin takes Lady Caroline Matilda home to Collinswood to surprise his father and when they pull up on the carriage and Kevin Thomas Riley SR is standing outside when the carriage pulls up and Lord Kevin Riley II walks up with Lady Caroline Matilda and Kevin Thomas Riley looks at Lady Caroline Matilda and he tells her " You remind me a young woman name Karissa."

Lady Caroline Matilda tells him ' I am Lady Karissa's daughter, Lady Carolina Matilda Carey."

My father is Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory." Lady Caroline Matilda tells him.

"Did your mother divorce Lord Andrew Charles Howard?" Kevin asks.

"My mother is in the process of divorcing my stepfather and my father and my mom are planning to marry each other." Lady Carolina Matilda tells him.

"I have a little brother, Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey, Duke of Langley Territory." Lady Caroline Matilda explains.

"Dad. We want to take you to Beltane Manor and surprise Lady Karissa." Lord Kevin Thomas II tells his dad.

"Let me tell your mother." Kevin Thomas SR and he tells Lady Isabella about taking care of Lady Karen Thomasina Riley who named for her late paternal grandfather and grandmother.

Kevin Riley SR, Lord Kevin Riley II and Lady Caroline take the carriage back to Beltane Manor and when they arrive Lady Karissa with Lord Richard William with Lord Benjamin Lawrence, Lord Anthony, Lord Albert and Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea are standing outside of Beltane Manor.

Lady Caroline walks up to her mom " I have a surprise for you mom."

"You know that I don't like surprises." Lady Karissa tells her.

"I think you will like this surprise mom." Lady Caroline Matilda tells her mother and Kevin Riley SR and his son walk towards Lady Karissa and Lady Karissa smiles when she sees Kevin with his son, Lord Kevin II.

Kevin walks up to her and he says, "Hi Karissa. This is my son, Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II who met your daughter, Lady Caroline Matilda."

"Hello Kevin. How nice to see you once again. Who did you marry?" Karissa asks.

"Lady Isabella Collins in 2278 and our son was born in 2280 and our daughter was born in 2290." Kevin explains.

"I always preferred Lady Isabella over Lady Angelique and I know that Lady Josette married Lord John Seymour." Karissa explains.

"Lord Edward Seymour is courting Lady Autumn Bridget Howard, Lord Patrick's daughter." Karissa tells Kevin.

Lord Richard William Carey walks towards his old friend, Kevin Riley and and Lord Richard William says "Hi Kevin."

"Hello Lord Richard William. I see you got my best girl. You have two children together" Kevin tells him.

"Lady Karissa and I are planning to be married in June of 2300. Lady Elizabeth is now Duchess of Norfolk Territory and Lady Karissa is now Dowager Duchess of Norfolk Territory but when we marry she will become Duchess of Bedford Territory." Lord Richard William tells him.

Lord Richard William and Kevin have been good friends since 2270 when he became Duke of Bedford Territory.

Lord Richard William and Kevin smile at each other and Karissa asks "Where is Richard William, Kevin?"

Richard Williams drives up in his convertible and Kevin tells her " Look over there. He is driving up now."

Karissa smiles when she sees her other best friend, Richard Williams.

Richard Williams stops his car and climbs out of it and he walks over where Kevin and Karissa are and they embrace each other as they haven't seen each other since 2278.

"It has been 23 years since they last saw each other and Richard William tells Kevin and Karissa " I am a bachelor."

"I never found the right lady on Star Base 12 and I didn't want to marry an aristocrat." Richard explains, " I have my own country cottage in Essex Territory."

"This is my son, Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II and this is Lady Caroline Matilda Carey, Karissa and Lord Richard Carey daughter." Kevin explains.

Richard looks at Lady Caroline Matilda "Yep, she sure is Karissa's daughter. She has her mother's eyes and good looks." Richard tells Karissa and Kevin.

"Your son looks like you, Kevin." Richard tells him.

"These are Karissa's other children, Lord Anthony, Lord Albert Edward, and Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea." Kevin tells Richard.

"Karissa has some beautiful children, now doesn't she, Kevin." Richard asks him.

"The youngest one is pretty." Richard tells Kevin.

"What happened to Lord Preppy as karissa so fondly named him?" Lord Richard William asks.

"Oh! Karissa is going to divorce him and Lord Richard William Carey and she is going to be married." Kevin states.

Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II starts to court Lady Caroline Matilda in 2299 and Lady Caroline Matilda is 17 years old and Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II 19 year old.

They court each other until 2301 announces to her father and mother who have been married for one year now "I am engaged to Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II." Lady Caroline Matilda tells her father and mother.

Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II walks into the drawing room at Beltane Manor and he bows and tells Lady Karissa " My father lost you to another man, but I won't lose your daughter to another man."

"My father can now rest easy that I am marrying the daughter of his best girl." Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II tells Lady Karissa.

"My father and you will share a grandchild together." Lord Kevin Thomas Riley tells Lady Karissa.

"My father never stopped loving you. My mother has accepted the fact, but she loves him." Lord Kevin Riley II explains.

"My mother was my father's second choice, as his first choice was stolen from him and he had his heart broken. He has a framed picture of Richard, you and him on his nightstand."

"I have a copy of it and he takes it out and shows it to Lady Karissa and she takes it in her hand "I have the same picture on my nightstand in a silver frame." Lady Karissa tells him, but I have another picture of your father and me taken out at Pembroke Castle."

Lady Karissa takes out the picture and she hands it to Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II and he says " It's my father and you."

"It's my private picture of your father and me." Lady Karissa explains.

Kevin Thomas Riley SR walks over and he sees the picture and asks "Where is my copy?"

Karissa hands him a copy of the picture of her and Kevin and she tells him " This is our picture taken at Pembroke Territory."

"I will be buried with it when I die." Kevin tells Karissa "At least my son has your daughter and we will share the same grandchild in time."

Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II marries Lady Caroline Matilda Carey on June 21, 2302 when she turns 20 years old and Lord Richard William Carey escorts her up the aisle to be given to Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II at the chapel at Beltane Manor.

At Lady Caroline Matilda and Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II wedding reception Lady Karissa sang the Neil Diamond song, "I Believe in Happy Ending."
