Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory was a patient man as he waited for Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard to set herself free from his second cousin, Lord Andrew Charles Howard so he could marry her as he promised her on February 1, 2275 when he had to escort her up the aisle to marry his second cousin, Lord Andrew Charles Howard and he was blessed with five children, Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard, born in 2275, Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene Howard in 2276, Lord Anthony Christopher Howard in 2280, Lord Albert Edward Howard in 2285 and Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea Howard in 2295.

Lady Karissa also blessed Lord Richard William Carey with two children, Lady Caroline Matilda Carey in 2282 and Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey in 2289.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard was also blessed with a daughter, Lady Anastasia Christina Howard with Lady Theresa Charlotte Hardwick in 2285.

In the year of 2299, Lord Andrew Charles Howard was forced to abdicate in favor of his eldest daughter, 24 year old Lady Elizabeth and her husband, Lord Richard Edward Howard III who was also 24 years old and both are the great-grandchildren of Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR and great-great-grandchildren of Lord Frederick William Howard through his second son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR through his two older sons, Lord Charles Andrew JR and Lord Richard Edward SR.

Norfolk Territory had to endure 24 years of governing under Lord Andrew Charles Howard with Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann. They implemented a lot of positive changes such as establishing absolute primogeniture throughout the territories on Star Base 12, abolished the archaic practice of pre-arranged marriages, and championed religious freedom and sexual, racial, equality on Star Base 12.

With the ascension of Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard as Duchess of Norfolk Territory she even went further with the changes.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane established the rights of women to leave their property to only their daughters under Matrilineal Primogeniture.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane would end Patriarch and she would usher in the Matriarch to Star Base 12 and it would spread to other Star Bases within The United Federation of Planets.

On a bright sunny June day in 2300, Lady Karissa escorted up the aisle by her eldest son, Lord Anthony Christopher Howard gave his mother away to marry Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory and acting as his best man was their son, Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey, Duke of Langley Territory and Lady Caroline Matilda Carey was her mother's maid of honor.

Flocked around her were her other daughters, Lady Samhain, Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea and Lady Elizabeth, her granddaughter, Lady Karissa, age 5 years old would be her grandmother's flower girl at her wedding to Lord Richard William Carey.

Lord Albert Edward would be one the groomsmen at his mother's wedding to Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory.

Lady Karissa was 50 years old when she finally married Lord Richard William Carey and he was 55 years old but they had persevered and had waited for the right time before they married.

She had done her duty to The Howard family and she had given Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR his first great-grandchild, Lady Elizabeth who was now Duchess of Norfolk Territory along with Lady Samhain, Duchess of Clarence, Lord Anthony, Duke of Lancaster, Lord Albert Edward, Duke of Kent and Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea, Duchess of Gloucester.

Lord Andrew Charles created Lady Anastasia Christina, Duchess of Northampton Territory in the name of her paternal great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard and the glory for his noble ancestor, Lord John Howard, 1st Duke of Norfolk Territory in 1483.

Lady Karissa had a strong belief in honoring your ancestors and she always told her children "Honor your ancestors because without them. You wouldn't exist."

Lady Karissa is dressed in a simple wedding dress and veil and bouquet of flowers when she walks up the aisle on the arm of her eldest son, Lord Anthony Christopher Howard who also married in 2300.

Lord Benjamin Lawrence stands with his father waiting for his eldest brother to escort their mother to marry Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory.

One by one the brides-maids walk up the aisle, first Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene, followed by Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane, followed by Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea and then Lady Karissa Ann as the flower girl.

Finally the doors opened again, Lady Caroline Matilda walks up the aisle to pave the way for Lord Anthony Christopher and their mother to walk up the aisle in the chapel at Beltane.

The music starts to play by Brahms and Lord Anthony and Lady Karissa start to walk up the aisle and everyone stands and faces the bride as she walks up the aisle.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard sits in the far back of the chapel as he watches Lady Karissa walk up the aisle on the arm of their son.

In the front pews sits: Lord Frederick William Howard III, Lady Mary Grey,and their son, Lord Frederick William IV, Lord Richard Edward Howard III, Lord David William Beck II, Lord Thomas William Howard,

In the second pew sits: Kevin Thomas Riley, Lady Isabella Collins, Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II, Lady Karen Isabella Collins, Lord Patrick, Lady Pauline and Lady Autumn Bridget and her fiance, Lord Edward Seymour.

Finally Lord Anthony and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann reach the altar and Lord Anthony kisses his mom and places her hand in the hand of Lord Richard William Carey, and he takes his seat after the High Priestess asks "Who gives away this woman in blessed matrimony?"

"I do." Lord Anthony tells her and he walks back to join Lord Frederick William III in the front pew.

Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard nee Lowell pledge their love to each other.

The High Priestess gives them her blessing and they kiss in front of everyone.

Lord Benjamin Lawrence and Lady Caroline Matilda join their father and mother in front of the chapel together and but Lord Richard William calls over to join them Lady Elizabeth, Lord Richard Edward Howard III, Lady karissa Ann, Lady Samhain, Lord David William Beck II, Lord Albert Edward, Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea, Lord Thomas William Howard and Lord Frederick William Howard III with his son, Lord Frederick William Howard IV showing the family of Lord Patrick William and Lady Margaret Penelope Devereux through their eldest son, Lord Frederick William and through all his sons and daughter, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard.

Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard-nee Carey spend the next 30 years together before Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann passes away in June of 2330 shortly after her 70th birthday.
