Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory is the great-great-grandson of Lord Frederick William Howard, 2nd Duke of Norfolk Territory through his daughter.

Lord Richard William Carey is the great-great-grandson of Lord Frederick William Howard, 2nd Duke of Norfolk Territory on Star Base 12 through his daughter, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard who married Lord William Carey in 2195 and he is the son of Lord Phillip Carey 2nd Duke of Bedford Territory on Star Base 12 and Lady Elizabeth Beaufort and they had two children, Lord George Carey who marries Lady Henrietta Bourbon and Lady Georgiana Carey who marries Lord Huge Courtney.

Lord George Carey and Lady Henrietta Bourbon have two children, Lord Robert in 2125 and Lady Roberta in 2130 and Lord Robert marries Lady Lettice Knolly in 2148 and in June of 2150, their son, Lord Richard William Carey and he is followed by Lady Richenda Henrietta Carey in 2156.

Lord Robert relocates his family to Rigel Seven until a terrible famine takes places similar to the one on Talos IV and when Lord Charles Andrew JR hears it he writes his first cousin twice removed, and he tells him " Listen here Lord Robert. Your son and daughter are the great-great-grandchildren of Lord Frederick William Howard. You need to return to the safety of Star Base 12. Your grandfather and their aunt will take care of your children."

Lord Robert tells his wife, Lady Lettice what Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR writes him and Lady Lettice is reluctant to depart with their two children but Lord Robert tells her " There is a terrible famine on Rigel Seven and what happened on Talos IV and Kudos is trying to play god."

"Kudos is similar to Colonel Phillip Green and some of his contemporaries like Genghis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolph Hitler. They all tried to play god and conquer and none succeeded." Lord Robert tells his wife.

"My father and my sister, Lady Roberta, will take care of Lord Richard William and Lady Richenda Henrietta." Lord Robert tells Lady Lettice.

Lord Robert and Lady Lettice help their two children, Lord Richard William and Lady Richenda Henrietta pack up their suitcases and they board a shuttle craft to Star Base 12.

"Listen, Lord Richard William and Lady Richenda Henrietta. You will be met by my father, Lord George and my sister, Lady Roberta on Star Base 12 along with your first cousin thrice removed, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, the Duke of Norfolk Territory." Lord Robert tells them.

"Lord Richard William. You will become the Duke of Bedford Territory after your grandfather." Lord Robert tells his son " Lady Richenda. I am sure that you can find a suitable match."

Lady Lettice walks over to her two children and she embraces her son and daughter " I love you my children. Your father and I will relocate to Star Base 10 where your maternal grandfather and mother live."

"We can't stay on Rigel Seven. The governor is thinking about doing what the governor on Talos IV is thinking about and exterminating all the families that have no standing." Lady Lettice explains.

"You will be better off with your grandfather, Lord George and your aunt, Lady Roberta." Lady Lettice states.

Lady Lettice Knollys direct ancestors are : Lord William Carey and Lady Mary Boleyn as well, but Lady Lettice Knolly comes through her daughter, Lady Catherine Carey who marries Sir Francis Knolly and they have Lady Lettice Knolly who marries Lord Walter Devereux, who becomes the First Earl of Essex and they have Lord Robert Devereux 2nd Earl of Essex and Lady Lettice Knolly remarries Lord Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester and Lord Christopher Blount."

Lord Robert Devereux 2nd Earl of Essex marries

Frances Walsingham and they have Lord Robert Devereux who marries Lady Frances Howard, the daughter of Lord Thomas Howard, Duke of Suffolk who was the son of Lord Thomas Howard 4th Duke of Norfolk by his second wife, Lady Margaret.

Lord Robert Devereux 2nd Earl of Essex also had a daughter, Lady Frances who married Lord William Seymour who was the son of Lord Edward Seymour and Lady Katherine Grey.

Lady Lettice Knolly was a descendant of the noble house of Seymour, Tudor, Howard, Grey, Knolly, Carey and Devereux.

Lord Robert and Lady Lettice watch the shuttle craft take off from Rigel Seven in 2260. Lord Richard William Carey is 10 years old and his sister, Lady Richenda is 5 years old.

Lord Robert and Lady Lettice shortly leave Rigel Seven and relocate to Star Base 10 and resettle on Star Base 10 with the help of her parents.

Lord George, Lady Roberta along with Lord Charles Andrew JR meet the shuttle craft at Norfolk Estate along with Lord Richard and Lady Richenda second cousins, Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Charlotte Augusta.

Lord George walks over to his two grandchildren and he hugs them " Don't worry now. Your Aunt and I will take care of you." Lord George tells his two grandchildren.

"You will like Bedford Territory, as one day Lord Richard William. You will become The Dukedom of Bedford Territory." Lord George tells Lord Richard William.

Lord Charles Andrew JR walks over to his first cousins thrice removed " Don't worry my dear cousins. I know your father and I know your grandfather."

Lord George takes his grandson and granddaughter back to Bedford Castle where their Aunt, Lady Roberta can take care of her niece and nephew.

Lord Richard William Carey is sent to the same parochial school that his other two second cousins are sent on Star Base 12 and Lady Richenda is sent to the same finishing school that her second cousins had been sent to.

Lord Charles Andrew JR escorts his first cousin thrice to her cotillion in 2273 and she is dressed in a beautiful white dress with flowers in her hair.

She is introduced to a number of gentlemen, but Lord Charles Andrew JR confers with Lord George and he tells him " My granddaughter must choose her own husband as my grandson will in time."

Lord Richard William Howard in 2267, meets Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford and he meets her at a dancing at the Finishing school in 2267 and she is 14 and he is 16. She is sitting all by herself at the dance and no one has asked her to dance.

Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford is touched that  someone wants to dance with her as she doesn't have the blonde hair, fair skin, and blue eyes that most of the young women have

It is the one thing that drew Lord Richard William Carey to Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford and it is the first young woman he falls in love with, but three years later when he asks her to marry him.

Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford tells him "My father doesn't want to be associated with Lord Frederick William Howard's family."

"I am only his great-great-grandson." Lord Richard William tells her and he goes away heart-broken.

When Lord Richard William Carey tells his grandfather and Lord George tells Lord Charles Andrew JR. Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him " Lord Robert Clifford, 2nd Baron of Clifford and his wife, Lady Elizabeth Percy. He is only a Baron." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

"Lord Richard William will find a young woman worthy of his social status and there are always drawbacks in being born into our family." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his first cousin.

Lord Richard William Carey never forgets Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford and how she wouldn't marry him just because his great-great-grandfather was Lord Frederick William Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk Territory.

Lord Richard William Carey suffers two losses in his life, first his father, Lord Robert dies on Star Base 10 leaving his mother a widow and not more than three months later his grandfather, Lord George dies and he becomes Duke of Bedford Territory.

Lord Richard William Carey is 20 years old when he becomes Duke of Bedford Territory and he inherits Bedford Castle and a handsome sum from his grandfather's trust fund along with his sister, Lady Richenda.

He also inherits a monthly annuity from his great-great grandfather's trust fund established by Lord Frederick William Howard.

Lord Richard William Carey is a lonely young man and he is searching for his bride and he doesn't care too much for the young aristocratic women on Star Base 12.

Lord Richard William Carey is a Duke of a country territory where it consists primarily of farmers who make their living by agriculture.

The staple of the food comes from territories that concentrate on farming and agriculture. Many of the people grow crops, have cows, sheep, chicken, and on Mabon and Thanksgiving they have pigs and turkey. Some of them have fruit and vegetable gardens and grow produce..

Only a few territories are into business but downtown Norfolk has stores, shops, and they import material, clothes, shoes, and other necessities from neighboring Star Bases and Federation colonies.

Lord Richard William has many young women looking at him but he isn't interested in any of them.

He tells himself "Maybe I will end up just remaining a bachelor." "I will make sure my sister's son inherits the title and property."

Finally, in the Pagan Year of 2274, a young woman from Post War World III Planet Earth arrives on Star Base 12.

She is not an aristocrat but she is exactly what he is looking for and her name is Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell.,,

Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell is escorted on the arm of Lt Kevin Thomas Riley who is returning from Talos IV after seeing his father's, mother's and sister's funeral. They were some of Kudos victims.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley introduces Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell to Lord Richard William Carey and she gives him a curtsy and he smiles and he gives her-his hand and helps her to rise to her feet.

"Lord Richard William. Will you please see Karissa at Madame's Boarding House?" Kevin asks.

"I will be happy to see Mademoiselle Karissa to Madame." Lord Richard William tells Kevin Riley.

"I was sorry to hear that your family became victims of Kudos foul play. Many men try to play god like Colonel Phillip Green, Napoleon Bonaparte, Genghis Khan, and Hitler." Lord Richard William states.

"Kudos will be caught and punished for his crimes against humanity" Lord Richard William tells Kevin Riley.

"Interesting enough Khan fell from his horse and was killed, Flint The Immortal destroyed Green, Bonaparte was poisoned and Hitler committed suicide." Lord Richard William explains.

"Good always overcomes evil and triumphant." Lord Richard William tells Kevin.

Kevin and Lord Richard William carry Karissa luggage to his carriage and they place it into his carriage and Kevin helps Karissa into the carriage and he tells her " I will see you later Karissa." and he watches the carriage driveway.

Karissa is tired from the four year journey from Planet Earth and she is very quiet during the journey to Madame's Boarding House.

Lord Richard William Carey strikes up a conversation with her " First of all, Welcome to Star Base 12 and Bedford Territory. I am the Duke of Bedford Territory. My people are good country people that consist of farmers and their profession is agriculture."

"Many of the territories consist of farmers that grow different crops ranging from wheat, corn, fruits, vegetables and animals of different kinds." Lord Richard William tells her.

Karissa looks up and she answers " There is nothing wrong with being a farmer. My maternal grandparents had a farm in Southern Alabama. They raise hogs, chickens, geese, hens, and they grow cotton and pecans."

"When I was a child I would travel down south with.my late mother and siblings to their farm and every morning we would have to get up and collect the eggs and feed the chickens,pigs, and milk the cows." Karissa tells him.

"Without the farmers. We would starve and it is a very noble profession." Karissa tells him.

"World War III destroyed it like it did everything else." Karissa explains.

"Only a small percentage were not affected by long term radiation poisoning and those of us who weren't were transported to Star Base 10 or 12." Karissa explains.

"There were 500 of us that were not affected by it and they said we were the blessed ones." Karissa tells him.

"All of us were victims of World War III and left war orphans after we saw all of our family die off one by one due to the long term effects of radiation poisoning." Karissa tells him.

"We saw each of our family members slowly waste away by the radiation poisoning. They couldn't eat after a while , they couldn't keep down food, they had to be fed by IV and finally they died." Karissa tells Lord Richard William Carey.

"We never heard so much crying, mourning and weeping." Karissa tells him.

Lord Richard William Carey listens to Karissa and he is silent.

Finally the carriage turns into Madame's driveway and Madame is watching from her window and when the carriage stops. Madame walks out and she says, "Bonjour Monsieur Carey."

"Good Day Madame Valois. This is Mademoiselle Karissa. I believe you were expecting her." Lord Richard William asks her.

"Yes. Monsieur Carey. I was expecting Mademoiselle Karissa." Madame Valois tells him and with that Lord Richard William Carey carries Karissa luggage into Madame 's and then he says" If there is anything Mademoiselle Karissa ever needs. Let me know."

"I will Monsieur Carey." Madame tells him and with that he bids them a good day and he departs and climbs back into his carriage and heads back for Bedford Castle.
