Be yourself be differentA Story by Closet WriterBasically My thoughts on how being yourself is more beautiful than being a copy catWe all aspire to be something or someone of importance. Why is it life can get in the way and change so much we believe in. People as a whole should treat one another better. Why pick and tease, when you should have more to give. Why should a child fear being different, why should someones flaws determine who they are going to be. People as a whole need to stand up for those who want to be different instead of bringing them down. Society is a terrible place if you are not a clone of someone considered better. Everyone has a struggle, and story to tell. Everyone has baggage and made mistakes. Yet, we feel the need to ridicule someone for not being perfect. Why is it okay for our children to feel the need to end there life over so much as being different. Since when is being yourself a terrible thing? We have taught our children to be weak in the eyes of their peers. Instead of being proud they hang their heads. Instead of being confident they are insecure. We live in a dog eat dog world. No one ever wins. Those who are strong and confident in themselves make no effort to protect those who feel lesser. Those who need help, feel alone. Why must being helpless feel so much like being alone. Where is the love that is needed by our peers. Where is the acceptance of being who you are. when did it become okay to be the same? Why do we as people wait until the last possible second to make up for those we hurt. Why can't we start spreading hope instead of fear. Children should be comfortable in there own skin, not a stranger, being smart or behind should not define you being girl or boy should not make a difference People are people and each one deserves a chance. Stand up for yourself. Live your own life. Be proud of who you are. Embrace being different. Nothing is more beautiful than confidence. Spread the word it is okay to different. No two people should ever truly be the same.
